Ride information:

Same routes as 2014's Tour de France Special Editions.

We have a fantastic, popular, well established sportive that has been running for 12 years, and we want to be a part of the Tour legacy by utilising the now-legendary 2014 Grand Depart route.

All 3 routes follow part of the Grand Depart route, with the main 118 mile route taking in all 3 climbs, as well as quite a few others including Fleet Moss and The Stang!

This Google Map gives loads of info about all the routes - have a look.

The 5 Dale 118

5 Dales, 118 miles and 8 major ascents, including Kidstones, Buttertubs and Whipperdale Bank - the 3 Tour climbs.

This one is for experienced cyclists only.

In the same league as the Etape du Dales and the Fred Whitton Challenge.

3 feedstations: Keld, Hawes 1, Hawes 2.

Challenge times: Gold - 7h15, Silver - 8h15, Bronze - 9h15

The 4 Dale 85

Same as the main route, but misses 2 of the hardest climbs. Still climbs Buttertubs and Whipperdale Bank.

Enter the 115, but take this option if you're having a bad day!

Challenge times: Gold - 5h45, Silver - 6h15, Bronze - 6h45

2 feedsations: Keld, Hawes 1.

The 3 Dale 60

Follows the main route for the first 30 miles, then 'escapes' down Swaledale. Still a major challenge, especially up Whipperdale Bank, the final climb!

Challenge times: Gold - 3h45, Silver - 4h15 - Bronze: 4h45

1 feedstation: Keld.

Registration and start opens from 7.30am. Last rider away by 9am.
